Release notes 25.10
Last updated 10/28/25 with Verint Coaching 25.10 release
What's New
Full-page Scroll Bar on Play Call View
We’ve enhanced our Play Call View (PCV) by adding a full-page scroll bar, allowing users to scroll to reveal more of the transcript pane for ease of reading. This addition allows users to focus on the parts of the PCV that matter most to them. It also ensures that users with smaller screens can access more of the transcript pane.
The new scroll bar is available to all users.
Operational Improvements
Expanded Read-Only Admin Role
We've enhanced the Read-Only Admin role to provide a complete, "look, don't touch" view across all your Settings. This role is perfect for users who need to see how their system is configured without any risk of accidentally changing critical Settings.
The Read-Only Admin role now includes view-only access to three new areas:
- Conversation Tab
- Model Tab
- Guidance Tab
This is in addition to the existing view-only access for the Org and Users tabs. Users with this role can browse and view all configurations in these four tabs, but all action buttons (like "Create," "Edit," or "Delete") will be disabled, ensuring your settings stay secure.
Enhanced Language Support for Settings and Transcription
We're excited to announce the first phase of our global localization initiative, making our platform more flexible for your multilingual needs. This update focuses on expanding language support for your user-configured content and transcripts.
Use International Characters in Settings
You can now use special characters and accents from various languages (e.g., ñ, é, ç) when creating and managing content in the Settings tab.
This support applies to fields across Settings, including:
- User Management:
- First Name, Middle Name, Last Name
- Job Title, Username
- Organization, Contact Center, Site
- Topics & Triggers:
- Topic names and IDs
- Notification titles and descriptions
- Trigger names
- Regex (Topic Spotting) rules
Why this matters: Any localized text you configure in Settings (like a Topic name in Spanish) will now display correctly and consistently for your agents/supervisors in their Coaching dashboards and in the Companion app.
Expanding Our Transcription (ASR) Capabilities
We are actively expanding our Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) to understand and transcribe multiple new languages leveraging Verint's already existing large library of language models.
Why this matters: This is the foundation for providing accurate, localized transcripts and supporting key features like Conversation AI topic spotting and Call Summarization in new languages – helping you better serve your global customer base.
What's Next?
This update lays the groundwork for full Coaching Bot localization. Stay tuned as we continue to expand language support across the entire Coaching user interface.
