Desktop - Deprecation Notice

Transition from Cogito Desktop versions earlier than 5.0.28 to latest Companion Desktop

We would like to inform you that starting September 2025, support for Cogito Desktop versions earlier than 5.0.28 will be officially deprecated. This means that these versions will no longer receive updates, bug fixes, or security patches. To ensure you continue to receive the best performance, security, and support, we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest desktop version.

The latest desktop, now called Companion Desktop version 5.0.29, is available in release 25.3. For planning purposes, Verint will minimally maintain an annual desktop release schedule to ensure latest security improvements with the intent to also support the previous desktop version unless otherwise communicated.
